Just a brief note ref. a worrying tendency on social media.
Using AI tools, people are taking known photos of Jim Morrison and Pamela Courson, and generating "newly discovered" photos, which are fake.
Look out for the following:
1] The photos are from an already known photo set
2] AI glitches - limbs and faces sometimes glitch with AI
3] Paywalls on such platforms offering fake photos as real
The dubious paywalled 'documentary' 'Before the End' has reportedly used such AI fakes, and they have been reposted by the "Pam Courson tribute" page on Facebook as if they were real.
When I challenged them I was immediately banned.
I would therefore avoid the Pam Courson tribute page and any Before the End - Jeff Finn - material.
To show how easy it is, I went on Shutterstock for the first time, put in the prompt: "Pam Courson washing the dog Sage with Robyn Wertle", and put in just two of the genuine photos for reference.
Within two minutes I had the photos below. Imagine if I took more time and used more reference photos!
